Audiences in GA4 are groups/subsets of total users that you can use in analysis and can utilize for many others.

You can segment your website users in the form of audiences. This audience segmentation can be done using different metrics, behaviour, or attributes of the users:

There are two ways with which you can create your audience on GA4.

Follow these steps to create audiences in GA4 using a template:

Step 1: Go to the “Configure” section in the left menu

Step 2: Select the “Audiences” option

Step 3: Click on the “New Audience” button

Step 4: Choose your pre-designed audience template

Step 5: Click on the “Save” button

Follow these steps to create audiences in GA4 without a template:

Step 1: Go to the “Configure” section in the left menu

Step 2: Select the “Audiences” option

Step 3: Click on the “New Audience” button

Step 4: Click on “Custom Audience”

Step 5: Name your audience and its description

Step 6: Add conditions according to your need

Click 7: Click on the “Save” button
