Fi. Money is an app redefining banking with a digital-first platform with its innovative financial products. They provide a financial app that comes with an in-built savings account. Embodied with cutting-edge tech, they help customers grow and organize funds.

Identified Challenges

Organic growth was a challenge for Fi.Money as they received traffic only from the branded queries. Obviously, very negligible keywords showed results on the Feature snippet result on the Google SERP.

Empathy, Research, Brainstorming & Plan

When Fi.Money approached upGrowth; they had an old-domain website generating traffic only on the branded keywords. They realized they could drive more potential traffic on the website and product pages organically. Feature snippet is one of the experiments we successfully implemented to fuel Fi.Money’s organic growth.

Solutions

First, we searched the targeted search query on Google and analyzed the current snippet i.e.
- Number of words and characters
- Content structure ex. list or paragraphs
- Boldened terms and phrases

There are 4 types of snippets: Paragraphs, Lists (Order/Unorder Lists), Tables, and Videos.
- Paragraphs – Paragraphs suggested 250 to 300+ characters.
- Lists – The article should contain different lists, i.e., ordered or unordered lists. The Unordered list was added in the H2/H3 tag. The ordered list was added in the H3 tag/depending on the content structure.
- Table – Calculations and numbers were added to the proper table format.
- Videos – Different youtube videos were embedded on the respective blogs.

With this experiment-based approach, we saw immediate & drastic improvement in keyword ranking for Feature Snippets SERP result. There was a better impact on traffic growth.
