Meditation and Doing Nothing


As a busy entrepreneur, I often need help to meet the business’s demands. That’s where practicing meditation and doing nothing helps.

Meditation has been a game-changer for me regarding mental wellness and productivity. 10-15 minutes of meditation daily can help me clear my mind and approach my work with greater focus and clarity.

Likewise, doing nothing has been a powerful way to recharge my batteries and avoid burnout. I’ll often take a few minutes throughout the day to simply sit and be still without any distractions or stimuli. It’s incredible how much this can help mental clarity and overall well-being.

On another side…my partner had an injury in Jan and has been on rest, followed by rehab since he finished a 50K Ultra in Lonavala last week. The run started at 1:30 AM. Bhaskar was able to finish at 7:20.

Retention and Layoffs

As a growth marketing agency, customer retention is one of our top priorities. We’ve found that building strong relationships with our clients and providing exceptional service is the key to long-term success.

Unfortunately, sometimes layoffs are necessary to maintain profitability and stay competitive. This is never an easy decision, but it’s essential to be transparent with our team members and communicate openly about the reasons behind any layoffs.

A team member had to be let go. We’ve never terminated anyone before. As we found the candidate moonlighting with competition, procrastinating, and not fitting our culture, we had to make this decision. 

We made a mistake while hiring him. We always ensure we have a cultural fit before they have expertise/experience. 

Burnout and Mental Wellness

Burnout is a genuine concern for anyone working in a fast-paced, high-stress environment. As someone who has experienced burnout firsthand, I know how important it is to prioritize mental wellness and self-care.

That’s why we’ve implemented several initiatives at our agency to support our team members’ mental health, including flexible schedules, paid time off, and regular check-ins and offsite retreats with the team.

The Future of SEO

SEO constantly evolves, and staying ahead is essential to remain competitive. Some trends in SEO include a greater emphasis on user experience, the rise of voice search, and the growing importance of local SEO.

At our agency, we’re always experimenting with new SEO strategies and techniques to stay ahead of the curve. We’re also keeping a close eye on the latest developments in AI and machine learning, poised to revolutionize the world of SEO in the coming years.

ChatGPT vs. Google

Speaking of AI and machine learning, I’ve been following the rise of ChatGPT with great interest. ChatGPT is a powerful language model trained on a massive dataset of human language, making it capable of generating highly natural and realistic responses to a wide range of queries.

While ChatGPT is still a relatively new technology, it has the potential to disrupt the search engine industry in a significant way. I believe that ChatGPT has the potential to outperform Google in terms of natural language processing and user experience. Recently we created many quizzes based on content generated by ChatGPT to test how Google will treat it, and so far, it has been a successful experiment.

Finally, I am touching on some recent digital and growth marketing updates that have caught my attention. One trend we see across the industry is a growing emphasis on personalization and user-centric marketing.

Brands realize that to stand out in a crowded marketplace, they must tailor their marketing messages to their target audience’s specific needs and preferences. This means leveraging data and analytics to gain deeper insights into customer behavior.

Personalization and user-centric marketing have become increasingly important in the digital marketing landscape. Brands that deliver personalized experiences and tailored messaging to their target audience are more likely to capture their attention and drive engagement.

Companies leverage data and analytics to gain deeper insights into customer behavior and preferences to achieve this. This allows them to create targeted campaigns that speak directly to their audience’s needs and interests.

One example of this trend is the rise of AI-powered chatbots, which brands use to provide personalized customer service and support. These chatbots can analyze customer data in real time to provide relevant recommendations and solutions, making the customer experience more seamless and intuitive.

Another trend we’re seeing is the growing importance of influencer marketing. Brands are partnering with influencers and micro-influencers to reach new audiences and build trust with their target demographic. By leveraging the influence and credibility of these individuals, brands can create more authentic and relatable marketing campaigns that resonate with their audience.

De-influencing – or telling followers what not to buy on social apps – is the newest form of authentic engagement that influencers and followers embrace. 

Hashtag #deinfluencing has over 159.5 million views on TikTok. Flipping the script with honest reviews and personal perspectives is helping these de-influencers grow trust and faith in their following.

Putting the user first is the key to success in today’s digital marketing landscape. Brands that can deliver personalized experiences and targeted messaging will be the ones that stand out in a crowded marketplace and drive meaningful engagement with their audience.
